Labors of Love provides beautiful high quality hand-painted murals and furniture for both home and business in the Atlanta and Metro-Atlanta area.  We specialize in everything from nurseries and children’s rooms to luxurious murals anywhere in your home, making dreams come to life for both little and “big” kids.  We can also paint any piece of furniture to make it one of a kind.

JP Sligh, an Atlanta native and graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, has been designing and painting murals and furniture for over 20 years.   Throughout his 15 year career in design, merchandising and purchasing in the corporate sector, JP designed and produced award-winning visual artwork and store design for Belk’s, Rich’s, Lazarus/Goldsmith’s, Coca-Cola, and Atlanta Bread Company to name a few.  During this time, he was constantly working on murals and his other “labors of love” on the side. 

JP left the corporate world in 1999 and founded “Labors of Love, Inc.”, devoting full time and attention to his artwork and providing decorative painting services to clients in the Atlanta area. 

While most of Labors of Love’s work is done for individuals, we also enjoy working with corporations and have produced murals for Snip-its, Baby Cakes, Sugarplum Kids, Circuit City/FNANB, Mad Bug and Chase.
